Running a workshop for children on art, nature and science. Mitzpe Ramon, 2015

Together with colleagues, who are fellow artists, educators and friends, the courses I teach revolve around experiencing our surroundings in a way different to what we are used to. This is what guides me and motivates me in both my artistic endeavors as well as academic ones.

Teaching aside, a lot of my work is focused on public outreach, especially in underprivileged areas of society. If you would like to hear more, or if you have an idea for collaborative outreach, please contact me.

The opportunity to express the importance of multi and cross disciplinary work in both art and science came about when asked to organize the 8th Haifa Conference on Mediterranean Sea Research, which we decided to dedicate to the theme of SEA - Science, Education and Art. A write up about the conference published in Ynet (in Hebrew) can be found here.
