ECHOES OF THE FUTURE
AN INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL EXHIBITION AS PART OF COP-26
Echoes of the Future features eight selected works and projects that, in unique ways, engage and influence respective local communities through narratives including human and biodiversity rights, culture, education, environment, and identity. Each explores the possibilities that come with new ways of thinking and innovating – from regenerative agriculture and solar power, to education and community engagement.
Selected artists and institutions include:
Little Sun, founded by Olafur Eliasson
Faraj Srour & Neomi Maggeni
Øyvind Engevik (Engwind)
The exhibition is curated by Michel Platnic, Veronica Neo, Charlotte Owen-Burge and Michael Lazar and is a collaboration between ReGenesis, Race to Zero and Race to Resilience
ReGenesis, founded by artist Michel Platnic, is a nonprofit art hub for sustainability to create and aggregate worldwide action and synergies for environmental justice and sustainability.
About Race to Zero
Race to Zero is a United Nations campaign to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, and investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
About Race to Resilience
Race to Resilience is catalysing a step-change in global ambition for climate resilience, putting people and nature first in pursuit of a resilient world where we don’t just survive climate shocks and stresses but thrive in spite of them. The campaign has a clear goal: to make 4 billion people from vulnerable groups and communities resilient to climate shocks by 2030.
